Launch of the Real Opportunities Impact Report 2014

The Real Opportunities project impact report will be launched today, 11 December at the Senedd.

The impact report for the Regional SEN Transition to Employment Initiative (Real Opportunities project), produced by the Welsh Centre for Learning Disability, will be launched on Thursday 11 December, 12:30pm at The Senedd, Cardiff Bay.

The project set out to address gaps in the support for young people with a learning disability, severe and complex needs and/or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder going through transition. It operated in 9 local authorities from 2011 until 2014 and offered a unique and comprehensive model of support.

The outcomes of the project have been monitored and evaluated by the Welsh Centre for Learning Disabilities over the life of the project. The results from this study are now available through the impact report.

You can download the report at the bottom of this page. An easy read version is also available.
